How it all started: The Miriam Foundation Annual Car Raffle was inaugurated in 2000. With J.C. Gravel of Le Groupe Gravel in the driver's seat once again this year, the raffle that began as a small idea soon escalated into a huge success!
More than any other Miriam Foundation event, the car raffle attracts the attention of the general public generating awareness about intellectual disabilities and Miriam Home and Services. With the chance to win incredible cash and prizes, the excitement that drives the raffle is infectious.
The cause: Proceeds from the 10th Annual Car Raffle will support rehabilitative, vocational and residential services for children, adolescents and adults living with intellectual disabilities. The programs and services we fund have a real impact on the community. Helping individuals to develop to their full potential, and supporting their families in this journey, ultimately benefits us all.
The details: A $125 raffle ticket entitles you to attend the raffle draw, which will take place during the exciting final night of The Montreal Open, Miriam Foundation’s 5th Annual Full Tilt Poker Texas Hold’em Tournament. Come enjoy cocktails and watch the action as 300 players compete to place amongst 20 finalists who will be flown to Las Vegas to compete for seats in the World Series of Poker.
