ABOUT MIRIAM RESIDENTIAL

Miriam Residential (through Miriam Foundation) owns and maintains seventeen (17) community homes that are adapted to meet the ever-changing needs of adult residents living with neurodevelopmental disorders.  Managed and operated by Miriam Home & Services, these community-based homes are adapted to meet the individual needs of the residents, who are all clients of Miriam Home & Services. Every residence is staffed by home managers and other support workers who provide quality daily care, guidance, and support.

The community homes offer stable, nurturing, and family-like environments in which residents are given the opportunity to integrate into the community, further develop their autonomy, and experience emotional growth, friendship, and self-expression. In the homes, residents participate in all aspects of family life and make choices that affect their day-to-day lives. Every home is designed and managed in such a way as to evolve according to the changing needs of its residents for the duration of their lives.
