P-ESDM Program Coach

Roles and Responsibilities
• In depth knowledge and experience in applying all principles of ESDM/P-ESDM
• Responsible for program development, monitoring and evaluation of the program and goals (9 families per caseload) with the assistance of the clinical coordinator as needed
• Implement Behavioral and Developmental assessments and formal evaluations
• Manage behavioral challenges (bite, pinch, etc.) according to ABA principles /ESDM and most current research and clinical coordinator’s suggestions
• Write up all reports pertaining to the client including intervention plans based on the results of the client and primary caregiver assessments, behavior plans, acquisitions plans, a final report and long-term recommendations which will be reviewed by the clinical coordinator.
• Monitor the progress of each client/family (behavior goals as well as acquisition goals) and change the interventions accordingly to promote client success (change should be applied if no progress is made after 2 weeks)
• Apply ESDM/P-ESDM principles in all elements of interaction and learning
• Active participation during direct supervision meetings and clinical meetings.
• Respond appropriately to feedback from clinical coordinator by changing behavior so that it is in line with suggestions made
• Collaborate with all team members 

• Perform P-ESDM fidelity to each participating family (at the second and fifteenth sessions) and register the information.
• Maintain rigorously the attendance of the clients/families. Notify the clinical coordinator in case of two absences.
• Maintain respectful and fluid communication with our partners (daycares, CLSC’s professionals, CIUSSS, etc.)
• Expand program content to ensure an engaging, dynamic, motivating and child- parent friendly experience

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
• Experience with clients with developmental disabilities, as part of an ABA/ESDM program
• Undergraduate degree completed (Bachelor) or graduate degree completed (master's degree)
• A fidelity of at least 80% according to the ESDM Teaching Fidelity Rating System, in at least 3 sessions, with 3 different clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
• Strong time management skills and is able to prioritize tasks accordingly

• Discretion, professionalism, and judgment to protect client’s confidentiality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English. Any other spoke language is an asset.

• Shows strong analytical skills, is receptive to feedback from supervisor and able to implement suggestions
• Have completed a criminal record check within the past five years
• Have Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel is an asset
• Have completed or will complete a Workplace First Aide Course (when available)
