The evening featured a performance from the Glee Club, a live tango performance, dinner and silent auction at Luciani Infiniti on Jean Talon West. Emceed by Frank Cavallaro, attendees were treated to flavors from Argentina, catered by Beso, including churros made a la minute as well as a surprise dance performance by Tango Dancers, accompanied by a three piece trio. The Gold Centre’s Glee Club beautifully sang their own rendition of Don’t Cry for Me Argentina as well as a few other popular hits to get the crowd going. At the end of the evening, attendees were given a sample of La Différence instant facelift.
Both Foundations would also like to sincerely thank Reitmans for their generous sponsorship of the event. Also, special thanks to Luciani Infiniti for their ongoing generosity and support.
The Miriam Foundation and Unicorn Children's Foundation help people with ASD and/or intellectual disabilities to live a fulfilling life. Both Foundations have joined forces for this event to make a global impact. All the profits from the evening and the auction will be donated to the Miriam Foundation’s scholarship fund to help families in need of early intervention services.
The needs are urgent as we’re conscious that more than 150,000 individuals residing in Quebec have autism or intellectual disabilities." said Warren Greenstone, CEO of the Miriam Foundation.
