Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)

The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and early childhood development methods, for children from 12 to 60 months

Through natural teaching, your child is stimulated and supported in developing new skills in various areas, including:

  • communication (speech, language)
  • cognitive development
  • adaptive behaviors
  • social skills

The intervention objectives are implemented through playful activities, either in French or English.

Service models include:

Individual one-on-one therapy is centre-based and either in an intensive (20+ hours/week) or non-intensive (6-18 hours/week) format.

Group 2:1 therapy is centre-based and 20h/week. Specific objectives include development of social skills, social communication, interacting with peers, generalization of skills, group routines and integration skills for new environments (e.g., daycare/school).

Support and coaching are provided to all families and stakeholders in your child’s life.
